Physics-online.com subscription is non-transferable. We reserve the right to expire subscription subject to refunding any subscription fees held in advance

Use of the Website: You (the teacher) may use the Website and any further software we supply to you in relation to the Website only as specified in the instructions appearing on the Website for your institution's (e.g. school or college) use or for educational, non-commercial purposes. If you wish to use the Website in any institution, e.g. school, library, college, you must apply for a separate licence for this purpose. You may not copy or otherwise use any software or computer programs constituting or contained in the Website. You may not copy the structure and lay out of the Website, including, for example, the architecture of any pages or series of pages or any links to other websites. Further, you must comply with the terms of any licence or access to information or software accessed through or via the Website, including, for example any terms relating to the use of any third party proprietary computer programs or services such as communications or email. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Website if we believe you may be in breach of any such licences, including in relation to excessive use. You will indemnify us against any loss we may incur as a result of your use of the Website otherwise than as expressly authorised under these terms.

Your teacher and pupil passwords may only be used by your institution. You (the teacher) are responsible for all use of the Website using your password. You are responsible for keeping your teacher password confidential so that pupils cannot access the teacherzone. If you wish to change your password at any time you may do so by accessing your account. You will indemnify us against any loss we may incur arising out of the unauthorised use of your password.

We do not guarantee that the Website will operate according to any specification or description and that any operation will be uninterrupted or error free. We do not warrant that the Website or any related software or hardware are free from viruses or other harmful components.

Aside from our own simulations, many online resources in physics-online belong to other organisations. We find and categorise these published resources and to provide you with a tool to manage them. We make no guarantee that they will always be available

Courses produced with physics-online are intended to be an enhancement to a standard classroom based physics course, as offered by a school or college. Without prior permission, your institution cannot use physics-online to publish and offer distance learning courses. Please contact us if this is your intention as we may be able to accommodate this within a special licencing arrangement.

Without prior consent, Physics-online may not be used for any secondary commercial activity.

Access to the website is restricted to students enrolled in the subscribing institution.

Acceptance: By registering your username and password you are representing that you are eligible to use the Website and that you agree to be bound by these terms of use. We reserve the right to change these terms.
